Samuele Ricci is officially a new AC Milan player. After successfully passing his medical examinations, the midfielder born in 2001 signed a four-year contract yesterday, with an option for a fifth season. The total operation will cost the Rossoneri €24.5 million, comprising a €23 million fixed fee plus €1.5 million in bonuses, in addition to a 10% sell-on clause for Torino on any future transfer.
Ricci leaves the Granata club as captain, a move that was met with satisfaction by President Urbano Cairo. Cairo stated: “We have accommodated the player. There was a significant offer, and it was an opportunity for him.” Torino`s chairman also confirmed the imminent arrival of Anjorin, considered a concrete reinforcement for the midfield.
Following Ricci`s arrival, Milan is now focused on finalizing the transfer of Ardon Jashari. The Swiss midfielder, born in 2002, has already agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri for a contract worth €2.8 million net per season until 2030. The definitive agreement with Club Brugge is still pending, as they are requesting over €35 million. However, Milan does not intend to increase their total offer, limiting themselves to revising the structure of the bonuses. Jashari hopes to avoid participating in Saturday`s training camp and Sunday`s friendly match against Rangers, as his priority is to wear the Milan shirt as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Club Brugge has begun searching for a replacement.
