AC Milan`s 2025/2026 season is set to begin. In just a few hours, the squad will gather for pre-season training under the guidance of the new coach, Massimiliano Allegri. However, there will be some notable absences, primarily due to players expected to leave.
It`s now widely reported that Theo Hernandez is headed to Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia, where he will be coached by Simone Inzaghi. Additionally, Milan has essentially put two surplus midfielders on the market: Ismael Bennacer and Yacine Adli. Having returned from loan spells at Marseille and Fiorentina respectively without buy options exercised, both players will need to find new clubs in the coming weeks.
Santiago Gimenez is also not on the list, but his absence is due to commitments with the Mexican national team. New signing Samuele Ricci, however, is regularly included in the squad.
