The enthusiastic reception comes as the club anticipates the arrival of Luka Modric, though his transfer is not yet official and is expected later this month. Fans eagerly gathered, their voices ringing out with chants of “Samu, Samu, bring us the Scudetto!” Ricci, as Milan`s first major summer signing, ignited an electric atmosphere. Amidst the various interactions, a young fan playfully quipped, “Do you have Barella in your pocket?”, a humorous reference to Inter Milan`s prominent midfielder Nicolo Barella.

An Unforgettable Welcome

Approximately one hundred fans of all ages converged at the Milan flagship store, loudly invoking Ricci`s name. The former Torino midfielder, fresh from his initial physical tests at Milanello earlier in the day, dedicated around half an hour to engaging with his new fanbase. He first made an appearance from a window, then was enveloped by the throng of supporters upon entering the store. Ricci diligently signed numerous jerseys, including the special white away kit, notable for featuring a distinctive small devil design in place of the official club emblem.

Transfer Details and Contract

Delving into the financial specifics of the transfer, Samuele Ricci has inked a four-year contract, which includes an option to extend his stay until 2030. His reported annual salary is set at 2 million euros, complemented by performance-based bonuses. The comprehensive transfer operation required AC Milan to disburse 23 million euros, along with an additional 1.5 million euros in potential incentives. These bonuses are structured as three separate payments of 500,000 euros each, contingent upon Milan successfully qualifying for the Champions League and Ricci participating in at least 50% of the Serie A matches during the season.

Another video showed Torino`s president Cairo commenting on Ricci`s move: “We had a good journey with Ricci. Now it`s Milan`s turn.”
