Jonathan David is on the verge of becoming a new Juventus signing. The official announcement is expected shortly, with medical tests scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, July 4th, before the definitive announcement by the Bianconeri club.
Today`s edition of La Stampa interviewed former striker Aldo Serena regarding David`s arrival. Serena commented: “An excellent signing, especially on a free transfer. To compete internationally, it`s crucial to act proactively. David is a versatile forward: he attacks space excellently, is quick, and has a good eye for goal. He can play as both a central striker and a second striker and actively participates in team play. At 25, he already boasts considerable experience and is in the prime of his footballing maturity.”
Serena then added, speaking about David`s qualities: “In this age range, as Boniperti used to say, players reach their peak, combining athletic vigor and experience.” Broadening his view to Juventus, Serena noted: “Tudor needs reinforcements from the market to have a competitive squad on all fronts. And Yildiz? He was overwhelming even against Real Madrid; he possesses the qualities of great champions and is now a certainty for the team.”
