Streamer Approached Inter Outside Hotel; Players and Staff Signed While Chivu Walked Away Indignantly
Dubbed the “Seattle Pact,” the proposal involved a 2-2 draw (`biscotto` in Italian, meaning a fixed or pre-arranged result) that would see both Inter and River Plate qualify for the knockout stage of the tournament. An Argentine YouTuber positioned himself outside Inter`s hotel in Seattle and managed to collect signatures from several key figures associated with the club – namely forward Marcus Thuram, midfielder Davide Frattesi, President Giuseppe Marotta, and Vice-President Javier Zanetti. As they signed, the YouTuber explained to them (on the fly and amidst laughter) that they were purportedly “agreeing” to this pact.
However, the only person who did not take the lighthearted provocation well was head coach Cristian Chivu. He walked away indignantly without providing an autograph.
