The potential transfer of Kepa Arrizabalaga to the Emirates is just the latest in a series of player exchanges between the two clubs, and it appears another player might soon follow suit.
Arsenal is reportedly seeking a winger to provide backup for Bukayo Saka and, more broadly, to cover various attacking roles. In this context, the Gunners` management has once again turned its attention to Chelsea, specifically to Noni Madueke. According to recent reports, the two London clubs are already engaged in advanced discussions to finalize a deal that could materialize soon.
Madueke, an English winger born in 2002, joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023 for approximately 35 million euros. However, under Enzo Maresca`s guidance, Madueke has not fully established himself. With Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto already in place in Madueke`s role, and Brazilian talent Estevao from Palmeiras also set to join soon, the Blues might consider offloading him.
Last season, Madueke made 44 appearances (32 starts) and scored 11 goals across all competitions.
