Arsenal is sending a strong signal about its commitment to future talent, as two exceptionally gifted 15-year-olds, Max Dowman and Marli Salmon, have been named in the 30-player squad for the upcoming summer tour of Singapore and Hong Kong. This progressive move underscores the club`s dedication to developing its own youth and integrating promising academy graduates into the senior setup.
Max Dowman, an attacking midfielder, is still several months away from his 16th birthday in December, yet he has already made a significant impression on the first-team coaching staff. His journey includes participation in the senior squad`s winter training camp last January and regular training sessions alongside the professional players. Dowman`s remarkable performance last season saw him net 19 goals and provide 5 assists in just 23 appearances for the youth teams. He also holds the notable distinction of being the youngest goal scorer in the history of the UEFA Under-17 European Championship, having found the back of the net for England against the Czech Republic. For the tour, he will proudly wear the number 56 jersey. Manager Mikel Arteta has lauded Dowman as an “enormous talent,” hinting at the possibility of his early integration into the first-team plans as soon as this season.
Joining Dowman for this invaluable experience is Marli Salmon, a promising central defender. Their inclusion in the touring party represents a pivotal step in their development and a clear investment in Arsenal`s long-term success.

The 23-year-old winger is currently engaged with Chelsea for their Club World Cup commitments and is expected to link up with the Arsenal squad upon their return from Asia.
