Home Kit Launched This Morning in Club Stores: `A fusion of tradition and modernity…`
Fans who remember the past might feel a sense of déjà vu. AS Roma`s new kit strongly resembles the 1993 version in colors and style. That shirt, also made by Adidas, became famous as the first worn by Francesco Totti. The new home kit was unveiled this morning in the club`s official stores, including the recently opened one at Termini Station. It brings back the distinct yellow and red shades that were characteristic of the early 1990s seasons.
THE DETAILS
According to the club`s statement, the kit is “`A fusion of tradition and modernity designed to fuel the passion of Roma fans, pay homage to the club`s past, and revive the most popular features of kits created for Roma by Adidas. The yellow of the trim, logo, and the three stripes on the shoulders creates an energetic look, powered by the dark red base of the kit. The crew neck is adorned with the official `As Roma` wordmark on the back.”
The unveiling featured prominent players like Lorenzo Pellegrini, Paulo Dybala, and Bryan Cristante, as well as group photos including Soulé, Koné, Mancini, Baldanzi, Rensch, and Celik. While the club awaits new signings and a main sponsor (currently absent from the men`s kit, unlike the women`s kit which features the Tim logo and was modeled by Giugliano and Pilgrim), this season introduces a new purchase option: the kit is available in both Authentic (worn by the team) and Replica versions. Both are available in AS Roma stores and online, selected Adidas stores, and official retail partner JD stores.
