When prompted if his younger, playing self would fit into his current Atalanta squad, Juric mused, “Perhaps. I had a profound tactical understanding of the game, and that`s what propelled me forward – grasping the coach`s vision. In this current Atalanta team, Maarten de Roon exemplifies a similar attribute.”
Shifting focus to next Sunday`s 6 PM fixture against Lazio, Juric commented, “It will be an immensely challenging game. I see Lazio as consistently strong in ball possession. They boast technical players and, this season, also exhibit exceptional physical condition. Many of their victories have originated from swift counter-attacks. Their players possess characteristics that differ significantly from the typical Sarri teams we`ve grown accustomed to seeing.”
