Ha poi chiarito la voce sulla Salernitana: “Nelle ultime ore è emersa la voce che mi ha accostato alla Salernitana, ma non ho sentito Daniele Faggiano. Magari l’avevo sentito per altre realtà”. Ha ribadito: “Non ho mai sentito nessuno della Salernitana, che è una grande piazza, importante. Non ho rifiutato perché non c’è stato alcun dialogo.
