Preview Barcelona Must Look Elsewhere: Juventus Secures Yildiz Future

Barcelona, despite already boasting significant talent, is keen to further strengthen Hansi Flick`s squad. The Catalan club has begun exploring potential signings in Italy, but quickly discovered that securing deals for both Kenan Yildiz and Rafael Leao would be extremely challenging, as they are considered key players and are well-protected by Juventus and Milan respectively.

The situation appears different regarding Ademola Lookman and Dusan Vlahovic. Lookman has been a long-term target for Barcelona, but Atalanta`s €50 million valuation and complications with his agents present considerable obstacles. A survey has also been conducted for the Serbian striker Vlahovic, who could become a more viable option should his contract situation with Juventus change.

Kenan Yildiz merits particular attention, as Juventus is actively preparing a new agreement that will significantly improve his financial terms. The Turkish player`s new contract is set to include a fixed base salary of €3.5 million per season, potentially rising to around €4 million with achievable bonuses. Furthermore, his salary is expected to increase annually, reaching approximately €6 million by the end of the deal. A contract extension binding him until 2030, with an option for a further year until 2031, is reportedly close to being finalized.

Under this new contract, Yildiz will be tied to Juventus until he is 26 years old, still very much in the prime of his career. This highlights his rapid development and the impact he has already made, underscored by his impressive statistics: 12 goals and 9 assists make him virtually unsellable for the club. His departure would only be contemplated in the face of an extraordinary offer, currently estimated to be around €100 million.
