Andrea Belotti, il nuovo attaccante del Cagliari, ha condiviso le sue riflessioni in una conferenza stampa all`Unipol Domus. Dopo aver fatto il suo debutto con la maglia rossoblù contro il Parma e aver siglato una doppietta decisiva a Lecce, Belotti ha espresso grande soddisfazione per la prestazione della squadra.

“La serata a Lecce è stata perfetta,” ha dichiarato Belotti. “Vincere e convincere è stato fondamentale, al di là dei miei due gol che ovviamente mi rendono felice. L`aspetto più gratificante è stato il modo in cui abbiamo affrontato la partita. Nonostante lo svantaggio iniziale, la squadra è riuscita a capovolgere il risultato, e i miei due gol sono stati solo la ciliegina sulla torta di un ottimo successo.”

L`attaccante ha anche discusso i motivi del suo trasferimento in Sardegna.

L`accoglienza a Cagliari

Belotti ha parlato dell`inaspettata e calorosa accoglienza ricevuta dai tifosi.

“Non mi aspettavo che i sostenitori mi chiamassero sotto la curva già alla prima partita; mi ha colpito profondamente. Non avevo realizzato che mi volessero lì ed è stato Deiola a farmi segno di andare. È stata un`emozione incredibile. Questo mi ha fatto comprendere l`enorme passione di una tifoseria che tiene così tanto a ogni giocatore che si impegna al massimo per la maglia. Questo ci dà un motivo in più per ripagarli con grandi soddisfazioni. La Società mi ha trasmesso un forte desiderio di avermi qui, dandomi molta sicurezza e fiducia, e per me questo aspetto è fondamentale.”

Sulle Statistiche e le Scorse Stagioni

Riguardo le sue recenti performance, Belotti ha commentato:

“Nelle ultime stagioni, sono arrivato a un passo dal raggiungere traguardi importanti. La percezione potrebbe cambiare se a Roma avessimo vinto l`Europa League, o se a Firenze non avessimo perso la finale di Conference League. Un attaccante è chiamato a essere decisivo, e i numeri sono spesso il primo parametro di giudizio. Tuttavia, all`interno di una partita, esistono molteplici dinamiche ed episodi. L`attaccante ha anche il compito di essere utile e assistere un compagno a segnare. Sebbene dal punto di vista numerico non siano state annate eccezionali, ritengo di aver contribuito in modo significativo alla squadra in ogni situazione. L`esperienza a Como, invece, è stata differente: sono arrivato prima degli acquisti maggiori e non ho avuto molta continuità. Forse il mio stile di gioco non si adattava perfettamente alle richieste dell`allenatore e alla sua filosofia calcistica, ma questo può succedere.”

Il Rapporto con l`Allenatore Pisacane

Belotti ha poi discusso il suo rapporto con l`allenatore Pisacane:

“Il mister possiede una profonda conoscenza tecnico-tattica, riesce a mantenere tutti in forma e sempre attenti, il che è cruciale poiché nel corso di una stagione l`apporto di ogni giocatore è indispensabile. Prima del mio arrivo qui, avevo seguito la partita contro il Napoli, notando una squadra ben organizzata e proattiva anche contro una grande avversaria, il che mi ha fatto un`ottima impressione poco prima di sbarcare sull`Isola. Ho contattato personalmente Pisacane per comunicargli il mio desiderio di unirmi al Cagliari e per rassicurarlo che, sebbene non fossi fisicamente in ritardo, con il duro lavoro avrei raggiunto la condizione ottimale. È curioso ritrovarsi ad avere come allenatore qualcuno con cui si è lottato strenuamente in campo, ma nel calcio queste situazioni accadono; mi era già capitato anche con De Rossi a Roma.”

Andrea Belotti, Cagliari`s new forward, shared his thoughts during a press conference at Unipol Domus. Following his debut in the rossoblù jersey against Parma and scoring a decisive brace in Lecce, Belotti expressed great satisfaction with the team`s performance.

“The evening in Lecce was perfect,” Belotti stated. “Winning and convincing was fundamental, beyond my two goals which, of course, make me happy. The most gratifying aspect was how we approached the match. Despite the initial disadvantage, the team managed to overturn the result, and my two goals were just the icing on the cake of an excellent victory.”

The forward also discussed the reasons behind his move to Sardinia.

The Welcome in Cagliari

Belotti spoke about the unexpected and warm welcome he received from the fans.

“I didn`t expect the supporters to call me under the curva already in my first match; it touched me deeply. I hadn`t realized they wanted me there, and it was Deiola who signaled for me to go. It was an incredible emotion. This made me understand the immense passion of a fanbase that cares so much about every player who gives their all for the jersey. This gives us an even greater reason to repay them with great satisfaction. The club conveyed a strong desire to have me here, giving me a lot of security and trust, and for me, this aspect is fundamental.”

On Statistics and Previous Seasons

Regarding his recent performances, Belotti commented:

“In recent seasons, I`ve come within inches of achieving significant milestones. The perception might change if we had won the Europa League in Rome, or if we hadn`t lost the Conference League final in Florence. A forward is expected to be decisive, and numbers are often the primary metric for judgment. However, within a match, there are numerous dynamics and episodes. A forward also has the role of being useful and assisting a teammate in scoring. While numerically these haven`t been exceptional years, I believe I have contributed something important to the team in every context. The experience in Como, however, was somewhat different: I arrived before the major signings and didn`t have much continuity. Perhaps my playing style wasn`t perfectly suited to the coach`s demands and his football philosophy, but that`s understandable.”

Relationship with Coach Pisacane

Belotti then discussed his relationship with coach Pisacane:

“The coach possesses deep technical and tactical knowledge, manages to keep everyone in rhythm and constantly alert, which is crucial because, over the course of a season, every player`s contribution is indispensable. Before my arrival here, I had watched the match against Napoli, noticing a well-organized and proactive team even against a major opponent, which made a great impression on me shortly before landing on the island. I personally called Pisacane to express my desire to join Cagliari and to reassure him that, although I wasn`t physically behind, with hard work, I would reach optimal condition. It`s interesting to find yourself being coached by someone you`ve fiercely battled on the field, but these situations happen in football; it had already happened to me with De Rossi in Rome.”
