The former striker concludes his journey as coach in the Italian youth ranks with a touching post and prepares to begin a new chapter in his career.
After 8 years, Bernardo Corradi is leaving the FIGC, specifically the Italy Under 20 team. The former Siena striker announced this himself with a long post on Instagram, in which he recounted the highlights of his journey with the national youth teams – which began in 2017 as Nunziata`s assistant for the Under 17s – a path filled with `work, fun, disappointments, discussions, growth, achievements, and friendship`. This chapter is now closed, as he awaits the opening of another very soon. This departure is indeed a prelude to his joining Massimiliano Allegri`s staff at Milan. His role with the Rossoneri is not yet official, but contacts have already been made with the new Milan coach, and the final agreement has never been closer.
The farewell to the U20
“It`s been a few days that I`ve been thinking about how to translate 8 years of love and passion, of work and fun, of victories and defeats, of disappointments and discussions, of growth and achievements, of friendship and much more into words,” Corradi wrote on social media. “I believe that sometimes it`s enough to look at those eyes, those smiles, those hugs. Thanks to all the people who accompanied me on this wonderful journey during which I had the honor of singing the national anthem at the top of my lungs representing my country around the world. Forza Azzurri .. always”.
