Preview Brescia Rises Again After Failure: Feralpisalò’s Pasini Takes Charge

A new era begins under Giuseppe Pasini, who will relocate the entire Feralpisalò structure – including the squad, staff, and their Serie C status – to Brescia. The primary goal is the return of former captain Bisoli.

One Brescia died, another is being made. Having digested the sad end officially announced this Thursday morning by the Football Federation`s website – an `anti-feat` by Massimo Cellino whose management erased 114 years of often glorious history (think the years of Baggio and Mazzone) – the wheels have long been in motion in the land of the blue and white club to restart from Serie C. The new course is entrusted to Giuseppe Pasini, who will move to the Rigamonti stadium with Feralpisalò, bringing everything: the player roster, the staff, and crucially, their league status. The squad will naturally be revamped: negotiations are underway for the captain of the recently failed Brescia, Dimitri Bisoli, who might wear the armband for the future Brescia as well.

Municipal Approval

Pasini, who brought professional football to Lake Garda and now aims to revive the city`s team, has the support of the Municipality of Brescia. Along with Mayor Laura Castelletti, he has already met with the leadership of A2A. `It was a constructive meeting. We enthusiastically accepted President Pasini`s invitation to work together to guarantee the city a solid and sustainable football project, involving other local entrepreneurs and in close coordination with Mayor Laura Castelletti and the municipal administration,` said the CEO of the multiutility. Following this meeting, yesterday the Municipal Council put forward a resolution proposal outlining guidelines for the exclusive concession of the Rigamonti stadium. Cellino is requested to return the keys to the facility by tomorrow, given the contract termination due to the non-payment of a lease installment. The concession for the new assignee is granted on an urgent, annual basis, covering only the 2025/2026 season.

Cellino`s Opposition

Throughout this, Cellino promises a fight. From the stadium concession (he claims to have paid one due installment, and automatic revocation requires non-payment of two installments, even non-consecutive ones) to the name and symbol the new Brescia will adopt, through the economic value of the improvements made to Rigamonti to adapt it for Serie A in 2019, and the family-owned sports center in Torbole Casaglia, which the Sardinian entrepreneur does not intend to leave unused.
