Catanzaro has officially announced the acquisition of promising young midfielder Fabio Rispoli from Como on a loan agreement that will extend until the conclusion of the current season. This transfer was publicly confirmed through Serie B`s dedicated section for transfer market activities.
Born in 2006, Rispoli arrives in Calabria after a remarkable performance in Serie C with Virtus Verona. During his tenure there, he made 35 appearances, impressively contributing with four goals and two assists, playing a crucial role in the Venetian side`s qualification for the playoffs.
Rispoli`s talent extends to the international stage, as he boasts five appearances for Italy`s Under-19 national team. He also made his Serie B debut in January 2024 with Como, accumulating two appearances for a total of 13 minutes on the pitch that season. Furthermore, his development includes 21 appearances and five goals with Como`s Primavera (youth) team, where he had the unique opportunity to be coached by legendary midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
