Preview Como Targets AC Milan’s Malick Thiaw with Lucrative Salary Offer

Como is targeting the German center-back and offering him a salary of up to €4 million per season. For Alvaro Morata`s transfer, Galatasaray`s approval is still needed. Nottingham Forest has also enquired about Yunus Musah.

Milan and Como are close to completing a potential double transfer operation worth approximately €45 million in total. Alvaro Morata and Malick Thiaw are key targets for Como, with negotiations progressing well, although not yet finalized.

Morata to Como: Fabregas`s Green Light

The discussions regarding Alvaro Morata are reportedly more advanced. Alvaro, currently on loan at Galatasaray until December, has already reached an agreement with Cesc Fabregas regarding a move to Como. Alvaro is keen on a new experience in Italy, and Milan is willing to approve the transfer. The primary remaining obstacle is securing an agreement with Galatasaray to terminate his loan six months ahead of schedule. Galatasaray Vice President Abdullah Kavukçu stated, “Morata is our player, and we don`t want to let him go. Galatasaray would not give any player away for free.” While diplomacy will be required, the path forward appears promising.

Thiaw to Como: Salary and Transfer Fee

Malick Thiaw, on the other hand, must now decide on his future. Como has presented a significant offer that is appealing both to AC Milan and particularly to the player himself. The transfer fee for Thiaw is expected to be in the range of €25-30 million. The proposed salary would reach up to €4 million per season, a figure substantially higher than Thiaw`s current wages at Milan. At this stage, the decision rests solely with Malick.

Milan has anticipated the possibility of losing one of their four current central defenders. Fikayo Tomori and Strahinja Pavlovic are highly valued by the club, while Matteo Gabbia`s consistent performance and status as a club-trained player make him an important asset. Therefore, Milan does not consider Thiaw unsellable. Last season, Malick made 22 appearances in Serie A and 5 in the Champions League, notably scoring a historic goal at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid in the group stage.

Musah: Nottingham Forest Enquires

Among other players who could potentially leave Milan is Yunus Musah. He was previously close to a move to Napoli before those talks collapsed. Nottingham Forest has reportedly made enquiries about the player. As of now, formal negotiations have not begun, but Musah`s situation is one to monitor closely for upcoming developments.
