Following the departure of Giuseppe Raffaele, who recently joined Salernitana, Audace Cerignola has announced their new head coach. The Puglia-based club has appointed Enzo Maiuri, an experienced coach who managed Cavese from October last season, where he narrowly missed the play-offs.
S.S. Audace Cerignola S.r.l. announces that Enzo Maiuri has been entrusted with the technical guidance of the first team. A two-year contract has been signed with the coach, valid until June 30, 2027.
Maiuri, born in 1969, has a coaching career that includes spells at Legnano, Matera, Fasano, Grottaglie, Nardò, Brindisi, Casertana, Taranto, Nocerina, Portici, Sorrento, and Cavese.
In the 2022/2023 season, he achieved direct promotion to Serie C with Sorrento.
The decision to appoint Maiuri reflects the club`s desire for project continuity, by relying on a solid and prepared figure with in-depth knowledge of the league.
