Relegated Club Sold to Brandon Berger; Fininvest Stays on Board for a Year. Galliani Likely to Become President.
Following its recent relegation, AC Monza is now under American ownership by Beckett Layne Ventures, advised by Studio Tonucci & Partners (Gianluca Cambareri, Giuseppe Santarelli, and Eleonora Ierardi). Fininvest officially announced the agreement today. Adriano Galliani is expected to take on a senior institutional role, likely the presidency. The deal has an “enterprise value” of 45 million euros, including 15 million in debts assumed by the new owners. Fininvest, advised by Studio Chiomenti, released the following statement: “Fininvest S.p.A. and Beckett Layne Ventures (BLV) announce that they have signed an agreement today for the sale of 100% of AC Monza`s share capital to BLV. The transaction involves an initial transfer of 80% of the shares this summer, with the remaining 20% to be transferred by June 2026. Until the full transfer, Fininvest will retain representation on the club`s Board of Directors in line with its residual stake.” Having invested 285 million euros in Monza through share acquisition and capital contributions, the Berlusconi family holding will therefore receive 30 million euros (the enterprise value less assumed debts).

“Beckett Layne Ventures, based in the United States and led by Brandon Berger,” the Fininvest note continues, “is a financial partner and strategic advisor specializing in sports, media, and entertainment sectors. The BLV team, along with its partners and advisors, including Mauro Baldissoni (a former senior figure at AS Roma for several years), boasts significant experience in professional sports, with a particular focus on European football.”
