Fiorentina`s coach, Stefano Pioli, has included all available players in the Conference League squad, splitting them between List A and List B, featuring all the club`s latest signings.

Stefano Pioli`s UEFA squad list for the Conference League group stage largely mirrors the one used for the play-off rounds, where Fiorentina faced Ukrainian side Polissya. Notable changes include the departure of Beltran and Bianco, who transferred to Valencia and PAOK Thessaloniki respectively, making way for the three most recent acquisitions: Piccoli, Nicolussi Caviglia, and Lamptey. Pioli faced no squad size restrictions, allowing him to register all eligible players across both List A and List B. Consequently, Gino Infantino was excluded due to a technical decision (as was the case for the play-offs and Serie A list) and remains on the market. Kouame was omitted from the UEFA list but included in the domestic league squad. Youngster Kospo, along with players still subject to transfer to clubs in countries where the window remains open (such as Sabiri and Richardson), were registered in both lists despite their current presence. Ikoné, who moved to Paris FC, had already been excluded from the previous squad for the Polissya matches.

UEFA Regulations and Upcoming Fixtures

UEFA regulations for List A permit 17 “open” slots for players not from the youth academy or trained in Italy. Additionally, four spots are reserved for players trained in Italy (e.g., Fagioli, Kean, Mandragora, Parisi for Fiorentina), and another four for club-trained players. For Fiorentina, only Lezzerini and Ranieri qualify as club-trained for List A. List B, designated for U21 players trained at the club for at least three consecutive years, includes talents such as Comuzzo, Fortini, Kouadio, and Martinelli. Fiorentina`s Conference League group stage fixtures are: Sigma Olomuc (home, Thursday, October 2), followed by away matches against Rapid Vienna and Mainz, then AEK Athens and Dynamo Kyiv at the Franchi Stadium, concluding with an away game against Lausanne in Switzerland on December 18.
