The new chapter in the career of Francesco Camarda, the 2008-born forward, is about to begin. He is leaving Milan for Lecce, moving on a loan deal that includes options for buy-back and counter-buy-back clauses in favor of the Rossoneri. Camarda has just arrived in Salento and will undergo medical tests tomorrow before signing the contract.
The young Camarda, described as 17 years old (though born in 2008), arrives after a season split between Milan`s first team and Milan Futuro in Serie C. He made a total of 35 appearances: 10 in Serie A, 4 in the Champions League (playing 35 minutes), and appearances in Serie C/Coppa Italia where he scored 7 goals and provided 2 assists. This experience prepares him for the new challenge in Lecce.
News of Camarda`s arrival at Lecce was confirmed by the club`s president, Saverio Sticchi Damiani. He emphasized that despite interest from other clubs, the player chose Lecce. This demonstrates the excellent relationship between the Milan and Lecce management teams and the belief that the Salento environment is the most suitable for his development.
