Midfielder Davide Frattesi departs the Inter camp early, heading back to Milan to recover from a persistent muscle injury.

Davide Frattesi has become the fifth Inter player to prematurely exit the team`s American training camp and fly back to Italy. The Italian midfielder trained individually at the Charlotte FC facility today, and it has been decided that his recovery from a lingering muscle injury is best managed back in Milan. This means he will miss the upcoming Round of 16 clash against Fluminense. Frattesi joins a list of other key players, including Hakan Calhanoglu, Yann Bisseck, Piotr Zielinski, and Benjamin Pavard, who also returned home after the match against River Plate, presumably for similar reasons or to manage their fitness.
