Young Footballer Stopped in City Center in Teammate`s Car; Teammate Also Charged for Negligent Entrustment

Two players from Frosinone Calcio recently faced a police stop by a State Police patrol car for a routine vehicle check. The 19-year-old behind the wheel was found to have never obtained a driving license, leading to an administrative fine of €5,000 for unlicensed driving. His 21-year-old teammate, who owns the car and was seated next to him, was also cited for negligent entrustment of the vehicle.
The incident took place on Via Adige, located in the lower district of the city, running parallel to the bustling central thoroughfare of Via Aldo Moro. The scene quickly drew the attention of several “Canarini” (Frosinone`s nickname) team supporters, who gathered around to observe the unfolding events.
