Ha attribuito questa percezione al fatto di essere la figura più esposta dell`Atalanta, data la tendenza della proprietà e dei dirigenti a non apparire. “Alla fine arrivavo io e trovavo un plotone d’esecuzione,” ha dichiarato, sottolineando come l`Atalanta avesse “tolto tanto a tanti”, generando così un`inevitabile antipatia diffusa.
