According to reports from Sky Sport, Hellas Verona and Cremonese are reportedly evaluating the acquisition of Enea Mihaj. The Albanian center-back, born in 1998, currently plays for Famalicão, a team in the Portuguese top division (Primeira Liga). His contractual situation is favorable for a free transfer, as his contract is expiring.
Born in Rhodes, Greece, Mihaj began his professional career in his home country, playing for Panetolikos and later PAOK Thessaloniki, a prominent Greek football club. In 2022, he moved to Portugal to play for Famalicão, where he has established himself as a defensive stalwart.
Standing 186 cm tall and right-footed, Mihaj is a center-back with good physicality but also capable of building play from the back. He debuted for the senior Albanian national team in 2018, accumulating 19 caps to date. In the recently concluded season, he made 29 official appearances for Famalicão, often wearing the captain`s armband, a testament to his status and impact within the squad.
