During one of the most intense days of the summer football transfer window, as AC Milan prepares to finalize several new signings (with names like Nkunku and Dovbyk circulating for attack, and Rabiot and Vlahovic still potential targets) to complete the squad for coach Massimiliano Allegri, Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his presence felt on social media. This occurred on the evening of Monday, August 27, 2025, almost coinciding with the transfer deadline. For romantics, it marked exactly fifteen years since his first arrival at Milanello as a player (the official agreement with Barcelona for a loan with a €24 million buy option was announced on the evening of Saturday, August 28, 2010). However, on this occasion, the Swede didn`t delve into past memories. Instead, while awaiting the Rossoneri`s away match against Lecce, he took a brief break from football.

Ibra and Ferrari: Between Purosangue and F80

After a long (and somewhat unusual) summer, filled with poolside acrobatics, holidays, and meetings, Ibrahimovic updated his personal social media profiles with a photo alongside Flavio Manzoni, the renowned designer and head of the Ferrari Style Centre. Manzoni is behind some of the most innovative and modern projects in Ferrari`s history, including the Roma Spider, the SF90 XX Spider, the 499P (the hypercar that won the last three editions of the Le Mans 24 Hours, marking Maranello`s return to the top class of the FIA World Endurance Championship), and the Purosangue.

This last model (which he described as one of his favorites, along with the Daytona SP3 and the 296 GTB, in an interview with Il Corriere della Sera) is, in fact, already in the Swede`s garage; he chose it as a birthday gift in October 2023 to celebrate his 42nd year. “Ferrari, you are in good hands,” read the caption from the former Malmö striker accompanying the photo.

There are no further details about the date of the photo (though, as indicated by his “new” haircut, it is recent), nor the location (but it seems probable that, for at least a few hours, Ibra traveled from Milanello to Maranello). Manzoni, for his part, presented the famous guest with an autographed technical drawing, complete with a dedication, of the Ferrari F80, his latest creation boasting a powertrain capable of delivering a maximum power of 1,200 hp. Who knows if this latest model might soon join the Swede`s dream garage.
