Frenchman Joins from Parma for €24 Million and Reunites with Chivu

Inter Milan has officially announced the signing of forward Ange-Yoan Bonny. The young French player, born in 2003, has signed a contract with the Nerazzurri valid until 2030, reportedly worth €2 million per season. The transfer fee paid to Parma is €24 million. In Milan, Bonny will be reunited with Cristian Chivu, who coached him for the final 13 matches of the previous season at Parma. Bonny concludes his four-season spell with the Emilian club, having scored 15 goals in 117 total appearances, including 6 goals in 37 games during his single season in Serie A.

Bonny celebrated the move by posting a childhood photo of himself in an Inter jersey on Instagram, captioned: “A child with a dream. Forza Inter”. Speaking to the club`s official channels, he expressed his excitement: “I feel a lot of emotion, I am very happy to be here. For me, it`s a childhood dream coming true, I still find it hard to realize it: I am happy, I can`t wait to start”. He added regarding his ambitions and relationship with Chivu: “I have a lot of hunger and desire to do better than last year to progress further. I want to learn from these great players who will now be alongside me every day. Mister Chivu helped us a lot in the last three months at Parma: he is truly a good person, who helped me and had faith in me. I am very happy to find him here again and also that we will continue our journey together”.
