Inter Milan is reportedly redefining its transfer market strategies. According to reports from SportMediaset, the club has decided at its headquarters in Viale della Liberazione to ease off the pursuit of former Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund.
This strategic shift is driven by the desire to concentrate efforts on strengthening the attacking midfield position (trequarti), for which a `very complicated object of desire` has long been identified: Nico Paz.
The young Argentine talent is well-known and has been appreciated and followed by the Nerazzurri for some time. However, Real Madrid holds a buy-back clause for Paz, which they can exercise until June 30th. This option makes any potential negotiation extremely complex for Inter, who must patiently await the Blancos` decision.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri club could also decide to retain Valentín Carboni, following a similar development logic to that successfully applied with Francesco Pio Esposito.
Separately, it`s reported that a deal has been finalized for Bonny: the parties have reportedly reached an agreement for a figure around 24 million euros, with the French player said to be eager to start his new adventure in the Nerazzurri shirt. Now, it will be a matter of finalizing the last bureaucratic steps, after which the player can undergo medical tests, according to the sports newspaper, likely from next Monday. Subsequently, after completing the clinical checks, he will sign his contract and can then fly to the United States, where Inter is currently participating in the Club World Cup.
