Lucas Digne Returns to PSG 10 Years Later: "The Club Has Changed, I'm Impressed"

Lucas Digne has rejoined Paris Saint-Germain ten years after his initial spell with the club. With a three-year contract and a reported fee of approximately 7 million euros from Aston Villa, Digne spoke to PSGTV about his return to Paris:

"I would like to thank President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Luis Campos, and coach Luis Enrique. It's a great show of confidence, and I'm happy to be back at Paris Saint-Germain," he stated.

Digne's Reflections

Things have clearly changed since his last tenure: "I am impressed. The club has changed, it has reached another level. It's truly incredible to be back here! The campus? Everything is in place to perform at the highest level," he acknowledged. "PSG shaped me as a player and as a man. I learned a lot alongside players like Zlatan Ibrahimović and Thiago Silva, and I won many trophies. It was a wonderful story, and it had to continue. I'm looking forward to meeting the team that has won two Champions Leagues!"

He added, "I'm looking forward to seeing Marquinhos again. We signed for the club at the same time, and now he's captain and has had an incredible journey; it's fantastic for him! Luis Enrique? You're returning with more experience and a new status. What are your ambitions?

"I'm returning as a man. I'm also a different player. I've gained more maturity and experience, and I want to bring that experience to the team and win many trophies. This club is built to win; it's in its DNA. This team is extremely ambitious; it proves it year after year, and that's why everyone wants to come and play in Paris."
