The SIULP, Italy's leading police union, has expressed strong criticism of footballer Matías Soulé after he posted a rap song titled "1312" on Instagram. The song, by Roman rapper Ince, features lyrics that the union considers openly hostile and offensive towards law enforcement.

Felice Romano, Secretary General of SIULP, voiced his astonishment regarding Soulé's choice. "We are appalled because everyone knows what the number 1312 signifies, which is precisely the title of the song," Romano stated. He further described the lyrics as "a clear attack on law enforcement, in addition to phrases that can only be described as obscene and shameful."

Romano also highlighted serious concerns about the potential impact on young fans. "We are worried because thousands of young people wear his jersey, dreaming of becoming like him, and because they consider him a positive role model, they might be influenced by the misleading and uneducational messages within the song," he explained.

Concluding his statement, Romano posed a direct question to the club: "We ask: does AS Roma endorse all of this? We hope not, but we await concrete actions for confirmation." The union is pressing AS Roma for an official response to the controversy.
