Jadon Sancho has made his decision: it`s time to leave Manchester United. The English forward has informed the club of his wish to depart Old Trafford, admitting he never truly felt integrated into the technical setup. After an €85 million investment in 2021, his spell in a Red Devils shirt has been marked by inconsistency, periods of exclusion, and loans, preventing him from fully showcasing his talent.
Now, Juventus is poised to capitalize on the situation. The player has already shown openness to a move to Turin, reportedly attracted by the Bianconeri project. At 25 years old, Sancho boasts an impressive record: over 350 senior appearances, 94 goals, and an equal number of assists. With a current salary exceeding €10 million, he is understood to be willing to accept around €6 million net, a figure that aligns with Juventus`s wage structure. United values him in the region of €25 to €30 million but is open to alternative arrangements, including a potential swap deal involving Douglas Luiz. Juve is aiming to finalize the transfer by mid-July to make him available to manager Tudor immediately.
Meanwhile, the club is also actively working on contract extensions. Kenan Yildiz, the promising young player born in 2005, is set to sign an extension until 2030 with a revised salary reaching €4 million per season. Regarded as the future face of the Bianconeri, he is expected to be a key technical and commercial asset. Extensions are also anticipated for Federico Gatti and Andrea Cambiaso, both considered vital to the new coach`s plans. Weston McKennie, whose contract runs until 2026, finds his future uncertain: without an agreement on an extension, he could potentially be moved on during this transfer window.
