Preview Juventus Announce Pre-Season Plans: July at Continassa, August in Germany

Three-Week Break Follows Club World Cup Exit; Training Resumes August 2nd in Germany, First Friendly August 10th.

Juventus bids farewell to the Club World Cup in America after an intense three weeks and will reconvene in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, at the end of the month to begin preparations for the new season. The 2024-25 season concluded definitively with the loss to Real Madrid, following an earlier defeat to City. It was a trophyless year marked by a mid-season managerial change and significant club restructuring, including Cristiano Giuntoli`s departure and Damien Comolli`s arrival as general manager.

Upon returning to Italy after the intercontinental flight, the team will take a three-week break as per their contracts. Players are expected to return to the Continassa training center in Turin at the end of July (exact date pending) for initial preparations. They will then travel to Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, the location of Adidas`s headquarters and the club`s technical sponsor, from August 2nd to August 9th. This marks a return to the same pre-season base as last year. The first notable friendly match is scheduled for August 10th away against Borussia Dortmund. A few days later (date TBC), the traditional match against Juventus Next Gen will take place at the Allianz Stadium. The Serie A season is set to begin on August 24th at home against Parma.
