Juventus is set to welcome a significant new addition to its management team, with Francois Modesto reportedly signing his contract to become the club`s Technical Director. The news, as learned by TMW, confirms the imminent official announcement of his arrival.
In his new role at Juventus, Modesto will not be directly involved in transfer negotiations. His primary function will be to act as a crucial link between the club`s management, the locker room, the coach, and all other staff components. He was chosen by Comolli due to his extensive knowledge of the Italian league, the transfer market`s intricacies, and various club environments, in addition to his international experience. Modesto is expected to be a vital “glue” figure within the Bianconeri project, which now also aims for a qualitative leap in its squad.
Luca Marrone, a midfielder who previously worked with Modesto at Monza, spoke highly of Juventus`s prospective Technical Director. Marrone described him as “a young individual with a fresh approach, always open to dialogue.” He recalled Modesto`s inherent “ambition” and “remarkable intelligence,” qualities that, coupled with his playing career experience in Italy, England, and Greece, clearly foreshadowed his current trajectory towards high-level roles.
