Tudor: `Closing the Market a Week Before the Season Would Be Normal`
The football transfer market remaining open once the league season has begun is a significant source of frustration for many coaches. This sentiment was echoed by Juventus`s coach, Igor Tudor, during a recent interview with Sky. The Croatian coach admitted he pays little attention to circulating transfer rumors because, as he explained, “you go crazy.” He stated unequivocally, “This situation where the transfer market is open while the season is starting is nothing short of madness.”
Tudor was clear in his criticism: “All coaches are exasperated by this; it must be accepted, but it is not liked. The market strips away certainty, creates insecurity, and distracts from the vital daily work with the players you have available, which is fundamental. For me, it would be normal to close the transfer window a week before the championship begins.”

Tudor on Juventus`s Transfer Market Situation
Indeed, Juventus is one of the clubs where the `work in progress` sign will likely remain displayed until the very last hours of the transfer window. The team still has many surplus players to offload, and only two new faces (Joao Mario and Jonathan David) have joined the squad compared to last season.
The Juventus coach concluded serenely, stating, “What will be, will be. Every coach wants the strongest possible players. Sometimes it`s possible, sometimes it`s not. It must be accepted, focusing on the pitch and what you have available.”
