The German attacker was on the Bianconeri`s radar a year ago, but nothing materialized: the friendly on August 10th could be the right opportunity to find an agreement.
Karim Adeyemi`s name has resurfaced at Continassa (Juventus` training ground). It`s not entirely new, as he was already a target for Juve last summer, but this time the pursuit is being conducted discreetly, and there are indications that reaching an agreement might be simpler. Nothing is guaranteed, of course. But the 2002-born forward continues to explore his options and is getting closer to his contract expiry. Borussia Dortmund is open to listening to offers for him, and considering market dynamics and potential bids, this summer could be the opportune moment for them to sell.
MOVE
Last summer, Giuntoli and his right-hand man, Pompilio, attempted a move during Juve`s training camp in Herzogenaurach, visiting Adeyemi`s home in Munich to present Juventus` new project. The player`s openness was only partial, and the high financial demand to persuade him to leave Dortmund became the primary obstacle at a time when the club needed significant squad restructuring to fit Thiago Motta`s proposed style. However, it`s worth noting that Karim has always regarded Serie A favorably, particularly Juventus, who had also shown interest in him in the past. Their paths could converge again, once more: after Jonathan David, Juve is seeking a credible alternative should they not retain Kolo Muani, while Borussia Dortmund has reportedly become the main contender in the race for Sancho, a former player there.
INVESTMENT
Regardless of the potential fit with Sancho, Karim Adeyemi perfectly matches the profile Juve is looking for in this transfer window: he is young, possesses European experience, and has significant room for growth, which could increase his resale value. In short, he could be the ideal investment to complement David and raise the level in the attacking department, which requires a targeted refresh to improve performance compared to recent years. Relations between Juve and Borussia are excellent: the two teams will play a friendly in Dortmund on August 10th. This could be the setting to finalize an agreement, allowing Juve time to resolve the Vlahovic situation and generate funds through some player sales (Mbangula, Nico Gonzalez, and others). Adeyemi could leave for a sum of 45-50 million: this is the minimum required for a versatile attacking option.
