For Juventus, coach Tudor has opted for a defensive line of three. The reliable Di Gregorio will stand between the posts, protected by a trio of Gatti, Bremer, and Kelly. In the midfield, Locatelli and Thuram will anchor the central area, with Kalulu and Cambiaso providing width and dynamism on the flanks. Leading the attack will be David, supported by the creative duo of Conceiçao and Yildiz positioned just behind him.
Parma, under the guidance of Carlos Cuesta in his Serie A coaching debut, will respond with Suzuki in goal. The defense in front of him will consist of Delprato, Circati, and Valenti. The midfield quintet will feature Bernabé, Keita, and Ordonez centrally, complemented by Lovik and Valeri on the wings. Upfront, the attacking responsibilities will fall to Almqvist and Pellegrino.
