Julian Brandt of Dortmund in action during the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 League Phase MD4 match between Borussia Dortmund and SK Sturm Graz

Following the conclusion of the second matchday, which saw Manchester City secure a dominant 6-0 win against Al-Ain, the FIFA Club World Cup is set to resume swiftly with two exciting fixtures: Seattle Sounders vs PSG and Atletico Madrid vs Botafogo. For fantasy football managers participating in the World Fantasy Championship, it`s time once again to make those crucial lineup decisions. After previously discussing the top low-cost defenders and forwards, we now turn our attention to three recommended low-cost midfielders.

Brandt (36 Credits)

Julian Brandt has firmly put his 5.5 rating against Fluminense behind him. He was instrumental in guiding Borussia Dortmund to a hard-fought victory against Mamelodi Sundowns. In the second group stage match, the Dortmund number 10 delivered a superb assist for Guirassy`s goal, earning a significant fantasy score of 8. With Ulsan showing defensive vulnerabilities in their recent game, Brandt is a recommended pick for the upcoming match. He costs 36 credits in the fantasy game.

De Arrascaeta (23 Credits)

Following a brilliant debut against Esperance, where he scored, earned a 7 rating, and a fantasy score of 10, De Arrascaeta had a quieter game in Flamengo`s victory over Chelsea. This time, the former Cruzeiro player faces Los Angeles, who are already eliminated from the competition. Given his low valuation of just 23 credits in the World Fantasy Championship, it would be unwise not to consider him.

Nonato (13 Credits)

Coming on as a substitute against Ulsan, Nonato immediately made his mark with a fantastic first-time strike, securing a temporary 2-2 equalizer for his team, Fluminense. This represents a very positive start to the Club World Cup for the Brazilian. After receiving a 6.5 rating in the opening match, he earned a strong 7 (plus a goal) in the recent game. He might start against Mamelodi Sundowns. With a fantasy valuation of only 13 credits, he`s definitely worth considering.
