Former long-serving forward and current coach Cristiano Lucarelli spoke to Radio FirenzeViola about Moise Kean`s future. He stated: “His future depends on his needs. For example, I always preferred the choice of playing consistently. It`s up to him. Napoli has Lukaku but will be busy on multiple fronts. However, Kean wouldn`t be an alternative to Lukaku. He would be an additional player of absolute quality. He could easily play alongside Lukaku. The clause figure isn`t even too steep.”
Regarding the Saudi offer for Kean:
“I`m not surprised by his season. He needed an environment that would give him confidence. It depends on what he wants to do; if he wants to secure his family`s future, he can accept the Arab offer. Otherwise, he must remain in Europe.”
On Lucca or Piccoli as centre-forward replacements:
“I`ve always been an admirer of Lorenzo Lucca. I recognised important characteristics in him from the start. Piccoli is an excellent young player who, if I`m not mistaken, has already reached double figures in Serie A with both Lecce and Cagliari. I believe that whichever choice is made, it will be a good one. Although I think Fiorentina fans would prefer Kean to stay. However, both Piccoli and Lucca have the right potential.”
