Marc Pubill is reportedly on the verge of becoming a new player for AC Milan. As widely reported in recent days, the right-back underwent a series of preliminary medical examinations on Friday at a private clinic in Barcelona, with the full authorization of Almeria. The Rossoneri were eager to proceed with caution, having learned from a previous incident just 12 months ago when the 2003-born player`s move to Atalanta famously collapsed following medical checks at the La Madonnina clinic in August. This time, however, the tests on his knee have yielded positive and reassuring results.
Pubill Gives Green Light to the Diavolo
La Voz de Almeria offers further insights into the potential transfer of the player to the red and black side of Milan. An internal source from the Andalusian club revealed to the newspaper that the player`s transfer fee will not be less than 20 million euros. According to the same publication, which consulted a member of Pubill`s entourage, the player is “very calm” while awaiting further progress in the negotiations, and also “super excited” by the prospect of signing for AC Milan, having already given his firm “yes” to the move.
