Parma Calcio announced today that forward Matija Frigan sustained a severe left knee injury during this morning`s training session at the Mutti Training Center in Collecchio. Diagnostic tests conducted in the afternoon revealed a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
This news marks an unfortunate start for the Croatian player, who recently joined Coach Cuesta`s team. While Parma has not provided a precise recovery timeline, given the extent of the injury, it is expected that Frigan will not return to the field before February or March 2026.
