The link between Turin and Porto is heating up, and the return of the “son of art” to Continassa seems a matter of days away.
His return to Turin now appears to be just days away. However, there was a time, between the poor performances against Atalanta and Fiorentina that led to Thiago Motta`s sacking and the arrival of Igor Tudor as coach, when Francisco Conceição seemed almost like a foreign body at Juventus. The “son of art,” the explosive winger who sometimes gets lost in too many dribbles, who occasionally doesn`t hesitate to force contact in the box, but also the one who scored the 1-0 goal against Inter at the Stadium, giving Madama three golden points, the one who provided an assist in the first leg derby and again against Inter in the spectacular 4-4 match at San Siro. In a single year at Juve, the Portuguese player has lived *multiple lives*, a roller coaster of ups and downs that nonetheless hasn`t fazed him. Initially met with skepticism, he became a phenomenon and then almost a superfluous element, then a genius with enchanting flashes, and later a loanee to be bid farewell at the end of the year because, heavens forbid, investing 30 million in him was unthinkable. But what matters, after all, is always the end of a story. Tudor saw something in him and became convinced to rely on that young player, who himself had a less happy season than generally expected. In short, the past year cannot simply be dismissed as just *a bad year* for Chico.

CHICO AND IGOR
The relationship with Tudor changed starting from Lazio-Juve. Conceição played 41 minutes at the Olimpico: brought on at halftime and substituted in the 87th minute. An apparently strange choice. The Croatian coach later apologized to the Portuguese (and to Adzic, who only stayed on for a mere 10 minutes) and spoke with him at length to explain his reasons without demotivating him after what could have seemed like a rejection. They understood each other, and the *maturity* Conceição showed at that moment did not go unnoticed by the coach, who evaluates players but also men.

Why JUVE IS TARGETING HIM: 4 REASONS
So, seeing the two talking pitchside before a match was no longer a novelty. Intense chats to understand how to act on the field. And now that Chico is about to return to Juve, the Croatian coach will be able to further shape his winger`s qualities and enhance him in a team with renewed ambitions. Discussions with Porto are ongoing, and thanks to Mendes` mediation with an already friendly club, there is growing optimism regarding the possibility of seeing the player (again) available to Tudor for the first day of training camp at Continassa on the 24th. Juve is betting on him, and the first reason lies in the *growth potential* that the club and coach have seen in him (born in 2002, turning 23 in December) and his *role*. We`ve seen what he can do on the wing, but Igor also envisions him playing behind the striker, leveraging his talent in one-on-one situations and beating opponents. From this, it`s easy to grasp the second (big) reason why Madama wants him back in Turin: *Tudor`s desire*. He considers him a fundamental piece of his team for next season. Reason number 3: Conceição is young, yes, but *he already has a year at Juve under his belt*. He has learned about the club and the environment, as well as the Italian league and opponents. And having done so in a complex season gives him greater awareness. Finally, *his return does not close the door to the possibility of Sancho*, an operation that Madama is pursuing slowly and without any rush. For Chico, however, it`s a matter of very little, very short time.
