AC Milan`s sporting director acknowledges Victor Boniface`s past health issues but asserts his undeniable quality, while also confirming that coach Massimiliano Allegri has not requested a central defender.

Ahead of an official decision from AC Milan regarding striker Victor Boniface, Sporting Director Igli Tare provided an update before the Cremonese match. Speaking to Dazn, Tare clarified, “There haven`t been any supplementary medical examinations. We were aware of his previous health concerns, and we are currently conducting a comprehensive assessment of the player`s physical condition. His talent, however, is unquestionable. We aim to make the most informed choice and will soon finalize our decision after discussions with the coach.” He added, regarding the pressure, “As for a deadline? We`re not feeling any pressure; if anything, we`re applying it to others.”

Team Effort and Market Strategy
Tare then expanded on AC Milan`s broader transfer market strategy. He remarked, “Have we made numerous sales? The efforts over the past three months are a testament to a pivotal team, including Furlani, Ibrahimović, Moncada, and Coach Allegri. Allegri and his staff have done an exceptional job in developing the players we’ve sold, a truly fantastic collective effort.” Regarding potential new signings, Tare added, “We are still evaluating Musah and Chukwueze. With only one game per week, we are carefully assessing the best course of action alongside Max [Allegri].” He concluded by reiterating, “To reiterate, Allegri has not requested a central defender.”
