Preview Milan Targets Jashari for €40M, Theo Hernandez Departs

Following reported progress on a move for Samuele Ricci, AC Milan is now said to be preparing a push for Ardon Jashari. The Swiss midfielder, born in 2002, currently plays for Club Brugge and was recently named the best young talent in Belgium for the past season. He had a strong year, making 43 appearances, scoring 4 goals, and impressing particularly in the Champions League. Known for being tough negotiators, Club Brugge reportedly values Jashari at around €40 million.

Milan has already submitted an initial offer said to be over €30 million including bonuses, but the Belgian club appears determined to stick to their valuation. They seem keen to replicate the successful sale model used for Charles De Ketelaere, for whom they secured approximately €35 million from the Rossoneri.

In related news, the transfer of Theo Hernandez to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal is reportedly close to being finalized. The French left-back is understood to have agreed personal terms with the Saudi club, which involve a net annual salary of €25 million. AC Milan is expected to receive a transfer fee of approximately €30 million. After five prominent seasons with the Rossoneri, Theo Hernandez is preparing to leave European football for the Saudi Pro League.

Furthermore, on the list of potential departures, Divock Origi has reportedly met with Milan management to discuss the possibility of terminating his contract, which is set to expire in 2026. The Belgian striker is no longer considered part of the technical project and has not played for Milan since May 2023, following a disappointing loan spell at Nottingham Forest.
