Preview Napoli Closing in on Beukema and Lang, Monitoring Kean

Napoli is on the verge of securing two new players: Sam Beukema and Noa Lang. The deal for Beukema, the Dutch defender from Bologna, is reportedly in its final stages. Following several weeks of negotiations and an initial €10 million gap, Napoli has increased their offer to €28-29 million. Bologna are now willing to sell for €30 million, partly to accommodate the player`s wishes. Beukema has already agreed personal terms with Napoli through 2029 and is keen to play under Antonio Conte. An official announcement is anticipated soon.

An agreement for Noa Lang is also nearing completion. Having reached personal terms with the PSV attacking winger some weeks ago, Napoli has now also finalized a deal with the Dutch club, worth €25 million plus add-ons. Only the final bureaucratic details need to be settled before the signings can be official.

In other news, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is monitoring the situation surrounding Moise Kean. The striker, currently at Fiorentina, is being evaluated on the market. His contract includes a €52 million release clause valid until mid-July. Saudi club Al-Qadisiyya, after failing to sign David, reportedly contacted Kean`s representatives, but those talks have stalled. The player, focused on the 2026 World Cup, is hoping for offers from the Premier League, though Napoli has also made an exploratory inquiry. Regarding departures, Rafa Marin has completed his medical and signed for Villarreal. The defender moves on a paid loan (€1 million) with a €15 million option to buy. This follows the sales of Natan, Caprile, and Gaetano as Napoli looks to trim the squad.
