The Serie A transfer market is already buzzing with intense activity, even though the official window doesn`t open until July 1st. Napoli is proving to be one of the most proactive clubs, not content with potential previous signings, and aiming to secure two key players from Bologna, fresh off their successful season.
As widely reported, Napoli`s primary targets are winger Dan Ndoye and central defender Sam Beukema. Intense discussions between the two clubs have taken place recently, but they have yet to reach a definitive agreement. The main stumbling block is the difference between Bologna`s asking prices (reportedly 40 million euros for Ndoye and 30 million for Beukema) and Napoli`s initial valuation and spending plans. Despite this gap, both parties remain open to further talks in the near future.
In an effort to lower the net cost of the potential double deal, Napoli is also exploring the possibility of including players in exchange. Specifically mentioned are full-back Alessandro Zanoli, who has returned from his loan spell at Genoa, and attacking midfielder Jesper Lindstrom, who is currently part of the Napoli squad.
