Victor Osimhen remains a central figure in Napoli`s transfer discussions. According to reports from Sky Sport, Galatasaray submitted a new bid of €70 million to Aurelio De Laurentiis today. The Turkish side proposed paying this fee in five installments and included letters of credit guarantees.
However, the Napoli president is seeking €75 million, to be paid in no more than two installments, backed by bank guarantees. Consequently, De Laurentiis declined Galatasaray`s proposal for the Nigerian forward.
While Osimhen is undoubtedly a valuable addition to any squad, he is currently at odds with Napoli, and the club has decided he is available for transfer. The main hurdle is the lack of an agreement with a potential buyer, coupled with the fact that the Nigerian striker is reportedly turning down all offers because his sole desire is to return to Istanbul. He previously enjoyed a highly successful spell there, leading his team to Super Lig and Turkish Cup victories.
