Coaches` Selections for the 8:45 PM Kick-off at the Maradona Stadium
For Napoli`s upcoming match, there`s only one notable change from the squad that took the field in the first game of the season against Sassuolo. Alex Meret will once again guard the goal, supported by a defensive line comprising Di Lorenzo, Rrhamani, Juan Jesus, and Spinazzola, with the latter being preferred over Olivera. The midfield engine room will feature Anguissa and Lobotka. Further forward, in the attacking midfield role, Politano, De Bruyne, and McTominay will operate behind the main striker, Lucca. Neres is unavailable for selection, currently sidelined with a muscle issue.
Cagliari`s coach, Pisacane, has named a lineup with Caprile between the posts. The defense will be a trio consisting of Mina, Luperto, and Obert. In the midfield, Deiola, Prati, and Adopo will form the central core, with Zappa and the newly acquired Palestra providing width on the flanks. Sebastiano Esposito is set to lead the offensive line, with Folorunsho offering support just behind him.
