It has been a particularly challenging period for Napoli`s sporting director, Giovanni Manna. Just days ago, he sustained a serious Achilles tendon injury while jogging and subsequently underwent surgery. Despite his recovery, Manna continued to diligently work on the final details of the Italian champions` transfer market from his hospital bed at the Ruesch clinic, where Dr. Ugo Camilleri performed the operation. Adding to his recent misfortunes, it has now come to light that his driver`s license was revoked on July 31st.

The incident occurred in Abruzzo, where Manna was intercepted by the Carabinieri of the Castel di Sangro Company on State Road 17. He was reportedly returning from the celebration of Antonio Conte`s 56th birthday. After undergoing an alcohol test, Manna tested positive, leading to the immediate confiscation of his license. Since his blood alcohol content (BAC) level of 0.6 g/l only slightly exceeded the legal limit of 0.5 g/l, the suspension was set for three months, rather than the standard six-month period.
