The potential transfer of Victor Osimhen from Napoli to Galatasaray is reportedly turning into a protracted saga. Despite numerous discussions, a final agreement for the Nigerian forward`s permanent move to Turkey has not yet been reached.
Napoli is reportedly holding firm on their valuation of €75 million. While the Turkish club is moving closer to meeting these demands, proposing a significant upfront payment (estimated around €35 million) rather than spreading installments over 4-5 years, the deal is not yet finalized.
Although a definitive conclusion isn`t immediately visible, there is a sense of optimism emanating from Turkey. Turkish journalist Ali Naci Kucuk has expressed confidence regarding a positive outcome for the negotiations between Napoli and Galatasaray for Osimhen.
Posting on his X profile, Kucuk provided an update on the situation: “Galatasaray is doing its part and is on the right track. A little more patience is needed: announcements like `it will close today` or `it will be signed tomorrow` risk disappointing the fans.”
He further added, “Galatasaray has set its conditions at the negotiating table and will resolve all issues by remaining calm and managing the negotiation correctly. Despite Juventus having made an official offer to Osimhen, the player`s response was clear: `I want Galatasaray`. Just a little more patience…”
