Padova Football Club has officially confirmed the acquisition of Jonathan Silva Pertinhes, a dynamic midfielder born in 2004. Silva arrives at Padova on a temporary loan agreement from Torino FC, with the deal set to run until June 30, 2026.

Jonathan Silva Pertinhes was born in Taboão da Serra, Brazil, on April 24, 2004, and is a commanding presence in midfield, standing at 186 cm. His formative football years were spent in Brazil with Capiravariano, where he honed his skills.

His talent was spotted by Torino`s scouts in 2022 while he was playing in the Brazilian third division. This led to his move to Italy, where he joined Torino`s esteemed Under 19 (Primavera) squad under the guidance of Coach Scurto. During the 2022/2023 season, he gained valuable experience, featuring once for the Under 18 team and making 16 appearances with the Primavera granata.

Silva`s development continued to flourish in the subsequent 2023/2024 season. He significantly increased his game time with Torino`s Primavera, accumulating 28 appearances. In these matches, he showcased his offensive capabilities, contributing with 2 goals and 4 assists.

Prior to his move to Padova, Silva spent the 2024/2025 season on loan at Crotone in Serie C, Group C. This spell proved to be a crucial step in his professional career. He played a significant role for Crotone, making 31 league appearances and finding the back of the net 4 times, with goals against Messina, Giugliano, Catania, and Latina. His impactful performances also extended to the playoffs, where he participated in 5 matches, further demonstrating his readiness for senior football.
