Elia Plicco and Nicolas Trabucchi, two promising young talents from Parma Calcio`s youth academy, have extended their contracts, a development prominently featured on the front page of today`s *Gazzetta di Parma*. Both players have already had a taste of first-team experience and are eager to further their growth within the club.
Their journey together at Parma Calcio began in 2017, progressing hand-in-hand from the foundational youth categories all the way to the first team. Both deeply rooted in the Parma area – Plicco hailing from Fidenza with ties to Fornovo, and Trabucchi born and raised in Collecchio – they have embodied the club`s iconic Gialloblu colors throughout their formative years, wearing them “on their skin and in their hearts.”
Their dedication culminated in recent first-team call-ups: Trabucchi for the match against Hellas Verona and Plicco for the away fixture in Rome. Such milestones carry significant emotional weight and responsibility for players who have spent their entire youth careers immersed in the Parma Calcio system.
The club officially confirmed the contract extensions for both Plicco and Trabucchi, securing their commitment until June 30, 2028. The Gialloblu management stated that these renewals mark a crucial “starting point” for the duo, especially after gaining exposure during a Serie A season and achieving promotion to the Primavera 1 youth league. This commitment underscores Parma Calcio`s dedication to nurturing its homegrown talent and integrating them into the professional ranks.
